We went momentarily insane and decided to eat rabbit food at a vegetarian restaurant. I think it was the happy hour (discount on martinis and beers) that lured us in. For a vegetarian restaurant, it was better than I expected but I will not be going to any more vegetarian restaurants by choice any time soon.

We sat on the rooftop, which was quite nice on a cool summer night. There was a bit of miscommunication between the server and the kitchen and they made the wrong dish for my friend. They promptly made the correct dish without any fuss.

Drinks:
The drinks were all pretty weak sauce because apparently organic drinks are not as strong according to our server.
1. Sangria Pitcher (HKD$230)
2. Bali Martini (Happy Hour Price HKD$65)
3. Lavender Drop Martini (Happy Hour Price HKD$65)

Sesame Tofu Skewers (Gluten-Free) (HKD$70) with marinated tofu, red cabbage and ginger coleslaw, baby spinach and spicy Thai cashew sauce
Recommend: yes
Pretty basic but pretty good.

Life Cafe Hong Kong

Roasted Pepper Bruschetta (HKD$70) with handmade nut cheese, roasted peppers, fresh tomato, basil pesto on toasted focaccia
Recommend: yes
This was actually surprisingly very rich and filling. This was one of the more memorable bruschettas I have had.

Sesame Tofu Stir Fry (Gluten-Free) (HKD$119) with organic quinoa shitake mushroom sesame marinated tofu, baby bok choy, jicama, carrot, red pepper, cashew nut and star anise sauce
Recommend: no
This was kind of plain. I didn’t particularly like the tofu in this because it was the sheet/layer type (as opposed to the solid type in the tofu skewers above).

Organic Risotto (Gluten-Free) (HKD$118) with organic brown rice, pistachio, roast pumpkin saffron, goat cheese, caramelized onions, roasted garlic and vegetable stock
Recommend: yes
This was super creamy and hearty. The rice itself was pretty average but the flavors of the other components were good and filled me up quickly. My friend liked this, too.
