My friend and I came back to the Lady M counter at The Plaza and tried different flavors from our previous Lady M visits). As usual, the cakes were really good.
Strawberry Mille Crêpe Cake ($8)
This was made with fresh strawberries and strawberry pastry cream. It was very light and fluffy and the strawberry flavor was subtle. It tasted good but I still like the original and chestnut flavors the most.
Strawberry Shortcake ($7.50)
I don’t like strawberry (or any fruit) sauce on my dessert and this had none whatsoever and was made with fresh strawberries. It was super light and soft. A good alternative if you want something other than crepe cake.
