Da Fu (大馥) is a BBQ chain that has opened a fast in-and-out version at Reel Mall that serves grilled meat over rice bowls. It is located inside the food court at Reel Mall and crowded with counter seats — it is supposed to be quick service so can’t be fussy about that. The staff grills meat behind a glass in front of the counter seats and the cooked meats go into the back to be assembled into rice bowls.
The menu is pretty straightforward with variations of beef, chicken, and pork bowls to choose from. Each bowl comes with an onsen egg, miso soup and a pickled vegetable (kimchi during this visit) on the side.

I tried the beef rib finger bowl (RMB68) and it was pretty good. The counter is supplied with a mildly spicy sauce for the beef and a soy sauce-based marinade to pour over the rice. Overall, it is great value and I would come back for a meal alone or with one friend (as seats are tight and not ideal for socializing).
