Hunan cuisine–the food here is either a little bit spicy or a lot spicy. Nothing is not spicy. Get plenty of white rice.
烧椒皮蛋 Fried Green Pepper and Pidan Egg with Cayenne Pepper (RMB¥15)
Pidan (century egg) is always good and even better when mixed with these peppers. Great starter.
天然海蜇 Natural Jelly Fish with Special Sauce (RMB¥28)
Jellyfish is usually an automatic pick when eating Chinese. Pretty good version here.
孜然排骨 Chef’s Special Hunan Style Spareribs (RMB¥58)
This is the signature dish here. Super good flavoring. Must get!
麻婆豆腐 Spicy Mapo Tofu (RMB¥28)
Eat this with white rice.
牛蛙 Cayenne Pepper on Steamed Bullfrog (RMB¥48)
The bottom of this pan has small fire to keep cooking it at the table. The longer you let this cook, the spicier it will get so watch your time. There were a lot of garnishes in here and not too much bullfrog.
